Well, Hello there again ~
I'm Kim Chung, a UX designer with a background in technology instruction and graphic design. I have a very visual and systematic approach to design that stems from my experience in developing tech curriculum for graphic design, web design, and programming units - all taught in-person and online via Canvas.
I graduated from UW-Madison in spring 2018 with a dual degree in Neurobiology and East Asian Studies as well as a certificate in Asian American Studies. My education overlapped with the importance of research being the foundation of any hypothesis or finding. In order to state your case, you must demonstrate that you have key details to support your stance.
After graduating and moving to Boston, I was unsure of what laid ahead for me - I knew that I wanted to continue pursuing both research and design. UX combines my passion for creating visuals with the excitement of a research-driven design process. With the growth of digital designs driven by user experiences, it excites me to be a part of the growing changes!
When I’m not busy staring at the pixels on my computer screen, I enjoy spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes to please a crowd. Additionally, I can be found perusing the local farmer's market for fresh ingredients or sipping an iced matcha latte at a nice cafe.
